A major tube bending machine fabricator gave us a challenge. They wanted to move from a mandrel paste for machines shaping stainless steel tubes, to a clear, high water content gel, without losing the lubrication performance. Key requirements were that costs had to be comparable and the product had to be clear allowing operators to weld accurately through any residues.
